Los Angeles CA- Pickup and Sedan Crash on Highway 60 Near Grand Ave.

Los Angeles, CA (April 12, 2019)- A crash on Highway 60 near Grand Avenue in Los Angeles left one person injured. The California Highway Patrol reported the accident at approximately 2:52 pm on Thursday. It occurred east of Grand Avenue in the westbound lanes of Highway 60.

The CHP’s report stated that a sedan and a blue pickup truck collided for reasons unknown. In the course of the accident, the truck flipped over into the right shoulder of the road, pinning a person beneath it in a dirt embankment.

The victim trapped beneath the truck was assisted by paramedics and treated for facial injuries. They remained breathing and conscious following the crash. Their name and current condition are unknown.

Tow trucks were called to transport the vehicles from the scene.
