Los Angeles, CA – Three People Injured after Police Pursuit and Resulting Traffic collision on North State Street

Los Angeles, CA (September 4, 2018) – Local authorities reported that three victims sustained injuries after a police pursuit ended in a traffic collision along the 800 block of North State Street. Police first logged the incident at approximately 7:21 PM on Monday, September 3, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the three victims, the suspect, or additional people involved in the crash has been revealed.

Based on the police report, an officer had seen a motorist driving recklessly in the Los Angeles area and instigated a pursuit in an attempt to catch the suspect. At some point during the chase, the male suspect slammed into a vehicle along North State Street.

Sometime later, emergency personnel transported the suspect to a nearby hospital for evaluation. After his release, the man was sent to a county jail. No details about charges have been released.

Meanwhile, the two victims who had occupied the second vehicle and the female occupant who had accompanied the male suspect were transported to a hospital, as well. Their current physical conditions were not immediately disclosed.
