Los Angeles, CA – Twenty-Five People Injured After Tour Bus Crash on 110 Freeway
Los Angeles, CA (July 14, 2018) – At least twenty-five people were reportedly hospitalized after their tour bus was involved in an accident on the 10 Freeway early Saturday morning, according to a local and trustworthy news outlet. The injurious crash apparently took place at approximately 4:00 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway, close to the 10 Freeway interchange.
The California Highway Patrol stated that Dack M. Lew, 53, was driving the bus when for unknown reasons he lost control and struck numerous sand-filled attenuators at a junction. The bus was reportedly transporting thirty-two people to Koreatown from the Pala Casino in San Diego County. The tour bus struck a concrete bridge abutment and overturned immediately after due to the impact.
The injuries that were confirmed by the California Highway Patrol include four people listed in serious condition, five people reportedly sustained minor injuries, and the other sixteen were listed in good condition. None of the names or the extent of any injuries have been made available. Authorities are presently conducting an investigation into the cause of this accident.
