Los Banos, CA – Car Crash Leaves at Least One Injured on Pacheco Pass

Los Banos, CA (August 17, 2018) –  At least one person suffered injuries after becoming pinned between another vehicle and a tractor-trailer Friday afternoon on Pacheco Pass, according to a local and trustworthy news source in Los Banos. The initial reports stated that the victim had incurred their injuries at approximately 3:16 p.m. when the crash occurred a little east of the Upper Cottonwood area.

According to the reports, the motorist had been forced to come to a slow stop directly behind a tractor-trailer due to a separate accident further down on Highway 152. Unfortunately, that’s when another vehicle crashed into the rear-end of the victims’ idling car. The report stated that the impact of the crash forced the victims’ vehicle in the back of the large commercial tractor-trailer, pinning the victim inside the wreck.

The person inside the sandwiched car was reported to have sustained injuries, although whether or not they required transportation to a hospital was not made clear at this time. At this time, it has not been reported as to whether or not there were any other injured victims in the accident.
