Los Gatos, Santa Clara County, California – Traffic Collision between Pickup Truck and Motorcycle Leaves One Injured

Los Gatos, Santa Clara County, California (June 26, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a traffic collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck took place near Highway 17 and Laurel Road. The incident occurred at approximately 11:26 AM on Monday, June 25, 2018. Authorities have not revealed detailed information concerning the identities of the motorcyclist and motorist at this time.

As CHP explained, a white Ford pickup truck was traveling down the southbound lanes of Highway 17 when the motorcyclist sideswiped the larger vehicle. After the collision, the rider flew from the bike and tumbled to the ground. Paramedics discovered the motorcyclist lying near the roadway and transported the victim to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for treatment. The extent of the rider’s injuries has not been disclosed.

Authorities have not revealed the current physical condition of the Ford driver.
