Madera, CA – Gerard Jayme Injured In Fatal Crash At Avenue 15 & Santa Fe Dr

Madera, CA (May 17, 2019) – Authorities have confirmed that fatal car crash has taken the life of one and injured another driver. Gerard Jayme was a driver involved in the crash who sustained injuries. Another man from Groveland, aged 63 years, lost his life as a result of the accident.

The crash took place Thursday night, May 16th. The exact time of the crash was at 5:30 p.m.

Reports indicate that Jayme was traveling westbound on Avenue 15 in a 2010 Chrysler 300. The driver veered into oncoming traffic which caused him to collide with a Ford Transit van driven by the man from Groveland. The driver of the Transit sustained major injuries and was later pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.

Jayme also experienced serious injuries and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for further treatment.

The accident is still being investigated, and more details will be released as it continues.
