Madera, CA – Paul Willard Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Gateway Drive

Madera, CA (February 5, 2019) – Police confirmed that one person received serious injuries in a motorcycle crash on Gateway Drive. The man has since been identified as Paul Willard.

The accident took place between Willard’s motorcycle and a pickup truck on Saturday evening around 5:55 p.m. The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene of the accident.

31-year-old Paul Willard was riding on his motorcycle when the mentioned pickup truck attempted to change lines, causing them to strike Willard when they did not see him.

Willard was seriously injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. Police have not confirmed if anyone else was injured in the crash.

Gateway Drive near the area of 4^th Street was closed for two hours after the accident. At this time, it remains under investigation by police.
