Malibu, CA. Collision Involving 2 Vehicles Injures at Least 7
Malibu, CA. (July 6, 2018) – The Los Angeles County Fire Department reported a two-vehicle accident on the Pacific Coast Highway Wednesday, July 4th. The crash that injured seven people occurred at approximately 5:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon in the 21300 block of Pacific Coast Highway in the vicinity of Rambla Vista.
The initial reports apparently stated that all the injuries sustained were minor. While details are sparse, one of the vehicles involved reportedly overturned after the collision. An aerial video showed the overturned vehicle, which was a small, white four-door car of unknown make and model. Authorities had to stop traffic in both directions in order to clear the area, although officials reopened the highway at approximately 7:30 p.m.
There has been no determination made yet in regards to the events that led to this collision. No further details have been released in reference to the victims, their identities, or the extent of their injuries at this time. A full investigation is currently being conducted in order to establish the cause of the accident and determine liability.
