Malibu, CA – Firefighter Injured in Collision on Deer Creek Road
Malibu, CA – (November 15, 2018) – A firefighter was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle early Thursday morning in Malibu. The collision occurred just before 12:30 am on Deer Creek Road, just north of Highway 1.
According to Officials, an unidentified firefighter was fighting wildfires when he was struck by a civilian vehicle of an unknown description. Emergency personnel rushed to the scene of the accident and paramedics were able to stabilize the firefighter before they transported the victim to a local hospital to treat the injuries sustained upon impact of the collision. Authorities did not release the extent of the injuries sustained in the accident.
The police are actively investigating this accident to determine the probable cause.
