Manteca, CA – Brenda Hack Dies in Pedestrian Accident Near Moffat Boulevard

Manteca, CA (February 17, 2019) – Police responded to a pedestrian accident at Moffat Boulevard, just east of Spreckels Avenue, where a woman, later identified as 47-year-old Brenda Hack, died after being struck by a vehicle.

The accident took place in the 1200 block of Moffat Boulevard, where Hack had been using her walker and traveling across the roadway when she was suddenly struck by a vehicle. The impact threw her onto the sidewalk.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the accident. Hack could not be saved and tragically died at the scene of the crash. The driver and passenger in the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident to cooperate with police.

At this time, Manteca Police are investigating the accident in full.
