Marin, CA – Two Dead In Novato Boulevard Crash
Marin, CA (April 7, 2019) – A single-vehicle accident involving a pickup truck occurred on Friday just after 9 p.m., that took the life of the two men inside.
California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident. According to CHP officers, the crash happened west of Stafford Lake, on Novato Boulevard in rural Marin. The pickup truck that the two men were in was driving eastbound at high speeds before the driver lost control and then slammed into a tree.
The two men found in the truck were pronounced dead at the scene. A dog, which had been riding in the bed of the truck, was found deceased near the crash site.
Novato Boulevard was closed for five hours for investigation and cleanup.
The names of the truck occupants have not yet been released pending family notification.
