Marysville, California – Wrong-Way Crash Leaves One Deceased, One Injured

Marysville, California (June 25, 2018) – Local news reported that a woman tragically died and a man sustained traumatic injuries after a collision near the 10th Street Bridge. Sources indicate the accident took place at approximately 1:00 AM on Thursday, June 21, 2018. As per the report, the deceased woman has been identified as Trysha Gaff and the wounded victim has been revealed as Pablo Gutierrez, both residents of the Yuba City area. At this time, authorities have not confirmed any more important information surrounding the identity of the motorist responsible for the wrong-way crash.

Local police explained that the unnamed driver was traveling along the 10th Street Bridge before colliding with the car occupied by Gaff and Gutierrez, who were driving westbound in the direction of Yuba City. Following the accident, law enforcement closed the 10th Street Bridge for approximately five hours.

Sources revealed Gaff had succumbed to her injuries and died. Exact details as to whether this occurred at the scene of the crash or at a local hospital have not yet been revealed.

Paramedics transported Gutierrez to Rideout Memorial Hospital, where he received treatment for severe injuries sustained from the accident. Authorities have not revealed his current physical condition.
