Menifee, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Crash on the 215 Freeway

Menifee, CA (April 10, 2019) – A deadly pedestrian crash occurred on Interstate 215 at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Saturday. Reportedly, a male pedestrian was hit while walking in the lanes of I-215.

Murietta Fire Department responders and the Murietta office of the California Highway Patrol arrived on the scene and provided treatment to the injured man. Despite these efforts, the pedestrian passed away after sustaining life-threatening injuries. He was declared dead at around 11:30 p.m.

The name of the person killed in this crash has not been released.

The cause of the accident is unknown.
