When Pedestrian Accidents Happen in California
Every year in California, thousands of pedestrians will be killed in car accidents. California law requires that drivers yield to pedestrians. Unfortunately, many negligent, distracted, or intoxicated drivers fail to follow the law and cause fatal crashes that could have been avoided.
It’s always difficult to think about the financial and legal aspects of a family member’s death when you are mourning the victim of a pedestrian accident. However, in time, you might consider pursuing a wrongful death suit in order to obtain compensation to cover funeral costs and other expenses.
