Merced, CA – 53-Year-Old Beatriz Leon Among Three Injured in Car Crash on Highway 140 Near Quinley Ave.

Merced, CA (June 9, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident occurred on June 8th at about 12:35 p.m., that injured three people.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this injury accident. According to CHP officers, the crash occurred on Highway 140 Near Quinley Ave.

53-year-old Beatriz Leon of Merced was among the three people injured. A Toyota 2008 RAV4 was driving westbound on Highway 140 when the driver attempted to make a left turn into a private driveway and then hit an eastbound 2005 Chevy Astro van.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid. The driver of the van was transported to Merced Medical Center for treatment and further evaluation. Beatriz Leon was taken to a Modesto hospital and the second driver sustained moderate injuries and was flown to a hospital for treatment.
