Merced, CA – Several Injured in Two Vehicle Collision
Merced, CA (November 18, 2018) – On Thursday evening shortly after 5:00, a collision between two vehicles near the meeting of Santa Fe Drive and Business Park Way resulted in injuries to several people.
According to preliminary police reports an unidentified man from Merced, California was driving a red Ford F150 pick-up truck on Santa Fe Drive headed west. As the truck came up to the intersection, a Chevrolet Equinox on the same road but headed in the opposite direction attempted to make a lefthand turn onto Business Park Way and slammed into the Ford pick-up. The driver of the Equinox, an Atwater woman in her 50s, and her two passengers all sustained injuries from the impact. She was immediately transported to Mercy Medical Center but the other two occupants remained at the crash site.
At this time there is no word on the condition of the man in the Ford F150 or on the names of any of those involved in this incident. Authorities are continuing their investigation at this time.
