Merced County, CA – At Least One Person Killed In Crash Involving Big Rig

Merced County, CA (March 3, 2019) – A  fatal multi-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer occurred on March 2nd just after 6:30 pm at during rush hour, that took the life at least one person.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident.  According to CHP officers, the crash occurred around at 6:41 p.m. on State Route 165  near Crane Avenue.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid the injured drivers.  The injured parties were transported to local hospitals for treatment and further evaluation. Sadly, at least one person did not survive their injuries from this accident.

Roadways were closed pending investigations, but are now reopened.
