Middletown, CA – Fatal Collision on Highway 29 near Grange Road
Middletown, CA – (November 25, 2018) – A head-on collision killed one person and seriously injured another Saturday night in Middletown. The accident took place around 10:30 pm on Highway 29 near Grange Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a truck and another unidentified vehicle were traveling on Highway 29 approaching Grange Road, when one of the vehicles lost control and collided head-on into the other. Responding paramedics rushed to the injured victims and attempted to revive one of them before pronouncing one person dead at the scene. Another victim was extricated and transported to a hospital with serious injuries. Highway 29 was shut down for several hours following the collision.
