Milpitas, CA – Elderly Man Struck in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on California Circle

Milpitas, CA (February 22, 2019) – On Thursday, February 21, police responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian crash that took place at the intersection of California Circle and Dixon Landing Road, leaving an elderly man dead.

Around 8:08 a.m., an 84-year-old man was walking across the road when he was suddenly struck by a 2015 Ford F-150 at the intersection. Investigators found that the man had been in the crosswalk at the time.

The victim was rushed to the hospital, where paramedics confirmed that he was tragically confirmed deceased. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 56-year-old man from Moreno Valley, who remained at the scene of the accident and worked with police.
