Mission Bay, CA – Fatal Traffic Collision on Interstate 5 Freeway

Mission Bay, CA (January 7, 2019) On the 6^th of January, a fatal traffic collision occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway at around 5:50 a.m. According to the reports, a 48-year-old man named Joseph Vito Bernardino was traveling northbound on the highway near Clairemont Drive when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the center divide. Two other cars struck Bernardino’s vehicle, causing him to eject onto the highway. Another vehicle ran over Bernardino shortly after. When the paramedics arrived at the scene to help, Bernardino had already suffered fatal injuries.
