Mission Hills Crash Injures Motorcyclist

(June 12, 2018) A motorcyclist was seriously injured due to a crash around 12:18 Tuesday, June 12. The accident occurred on Sepulveda Boulevard and Devonshire Street in the Mission Hills section of Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the male motorcyclist was attempting to make a left hand turn when for a reason that is yet to be determined, he was struck by an oncoming pickup truck.

Paramedics along with Los Angeles firefighters responded to the crash and arrived on the scene to assist the injured rider. The motorcyclist was suffering from unspecified injuries due to the impact of the accident. He was immediately transported to a local hospital to undergo an evaluation and treatment. Neither the exact condition nor the name of the motorcyclist is known at this time, and the pickup truck driver was not injured. Police are currently conducting an in-depth investigation in order to figure out who exactly is to held liable for the crash.

In order to determine liability, there are many factors that the investigation will be looking into. Investigators will primarily be working to find out if any negligent behavior was involved in the cause of the crash.
