Modesto, CA – 1 Killed and 2 Injured in Fatal Accident on Yosemite Boulevard

Modesto, CA (May 1, 2019) On the morning of April 30^th, a fatal traffic accident happened on Yosemite Boulevard at approximately 6:50 a.m. Two vehicles crashed into each other in the 2400 block of Yosemite Boulevard near Trask Lane.

The reports indicate that a silver Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck was headed west on Yosemite Boulevard when it suddenly veered into the eastbound lanes and onto the gravel on the opposite side of the boulevard. The Chevrolet swerved back onto the street and crashed into a silver Acura sedan.

When the paramedics made it to Yosemite Boulevard, they found two occupants trapped inside of the Chevrolet and immediately freed them. Sadly, one of the occupants died at the scene.

EMS transported the other injured victim to a nearby hospital. A woman in the Acura also sustained injuries but refused to be taken by ambulance to the nearest hospital.

Crews are investigating to determine what caused the Chevrolet to veer out of control.
