Modesto, CA – DUI Hit-and-Run Crash Near Oakdale Road with Injuries

Modesto, CA (April 4, 2019) – A driver was hospitalized following a DUI hit-and-run crash that took place in the area of Oakdale Road and Orangeburg Avenue on Sunday. The accident took place around 2 a.m.

At the time, 28-year-old Brandon Dominguez was driving a white Lexus on Orangeburg Road. He suddenly ran the red light at the intersection with Oakdale Road and slammed into a 2015 Infiniti.

The Infiniti rolled after being struck. The 50-year-old motorist was trapped inside his vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency responders.

The 50-year-old from inside the second vehicle was transported to the hospital with injuries. He was the only person who was injured in the accident. His condition is not known at this time.

Dominguez allegedly fled the scene after the accident but was later found by police. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI and other charges. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
