Modesto, CA – Jonathan Manuel Perez & Keith Paul Injured in Crash on Claribel Rd

Modesto, CA (May 9, 2019) On the afternoon of May 8^th, a serious car accident happened at the intersection of Claribel Road and Eleanor Road.

A vehicle did not stop at a stop sign and T-boned another vehicle at the intersection. The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to end up in a field while the other ended up in a ditch. The two vehicles involved were a 2011 blue Chevrolet Cruze and a 2019 white Ford transit van. The major crash happened at around 3:30 p.m.

When the ambulance and fire department arrived at the scene, they found two people suffering from injuries. They have been identified as 22-year-old Jonathan Manuel Perez Ornelas and 62-year-old Keith Paul. Both injured victims were taken to Doctors Medical Center for immediate care.

Authorities are investigating to determine why one of the drivers failed to stop at a stop sign.
