Modesto, CA – Motor Vehicle Crash at Highway 132 and South River Road

Modesto, CA (July 25, 2018) – Two vehicles were reportedly involved in a motor vehicle accident that took place Tuesday afternoon in the vicinity of Highway 132 and River Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. The injurious crash apparently occurred between the two vehicles at approximately 2:30 p.m.

The report released by the California Highway Patrol stated that their dispatch team received a call pertaining to the crash. The call reported a dark-colored Chevrolet sedan that was apparently struck by a white Chevrolet that allegedly blew through a red light near the intersection of Highway 132 (also known as, Maze Boulevard) and River Road.

Paramedics along with officials from the fire department were the first to respond to the scene in order to attend to anyone who may have been injured in the collision. At this time, there has been no word reported regarding the nature of the injuries that were suffered, or the current conditions of the victims. Authorities are presently conducting an investigation into the events that led to this accident.
