Mokelumne Hill, CA – Head-On Collision Between Logging Truck and Caltrans Truck on Highway 49

Mokelumne Hill, CA – The California Highway Patrol reported a head-on collision that occurred between a logging truck and a Caltrans Truck at the intersection of Highway 49 and Highway 26 Wednesday morning in Mokelumne Hill. The crash that took place at the intersection and reportedly resulted I injuries apparently occurred at exactly 8:55 a.m.

Authorities confirmed that the injurious accident resulted in extreme damage to the front-ends of both trucks that were involved in the collision. The driver of the Caltrans truck sustained injuries that were classified as moderate. Emergency responders who arrived on the scene reportedly transported the victim to a local hospital to undergo treatment for their injuries. Officials from the California Highway Patrol neglected to confirm whether or not the driver of the logging truck suffered any injuries during the wreck.
