Monterey, CA – Liseth Perez Injured in Fatal Car Accident

Monterey, CA (February 28, 2019) – Police say a 19-year-old woman named Liseth Perez was injured and one unidentified party lost their life in a fatal car accident involving multiple vehicles that occurred on Monday morning. The California Highway Patrol responded around 9:30 a.m.

The driver, identified as 19-year-old Jordan Navarro, had been driving a silver Jeep and lost control for reasons that were not known. He collided with multiple vehicles on the highway.

Liseth Perez was one of the passengers in a vehicle that Navarro struck along the way. One person, whose identity has not been made public, was killed in the accident. Navarro has since been charged for vehicular manslaughter and driving without a license, among other charges.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
