Pedestrian Accidents on California’s Freeways
The Insurance Information Institute reported that almost 6,000 pedestrians were killed in the US in 2016. This equates to approximately one death per 90 minutes. Crashes with pedestrians at off-ramps are not rare. While on the highway and while merging off the highway, speed must be adjusted. Drivers must remain alert for pedestrians on all roadways.
