Moreno Valley, CA – Tanya Gil Killed in Head-on Collision on Gilman Springs Road

Moreno Valley, CA (January 31, 2019) – In Moreno Valley, a 31-year-old identified as Tanya Gil was killed in a fiery head-on collision that took place on Gilman Springs Road. The accident took place on Wednesday morning between an SUV and big rig truck.

Paramedics were immediately called to the scene of the accident, where they found that a Dodge truck and a big rig collided with one another. They are not sure of the circumstances leading up to the accident.

The Hemet woman tragically died at the scene of the accident. The Dodge that she had been inside became engulfed in flames immediately after the impact. At this time, police did not confirm whether or not others were hurt in the accident.

Police closed down the roadway to investigate the accident and clear the scene. The damages to the Dodge were so bad that the engine was ripped from the vehicle when they made impact.
