Morgan Hill, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident
Morgan Hill, CA (November 13, 2018) – 71-year-old Margaret Snively of Morgan Hill, California was struck by a car shortly after 8:00 PM on Watsonville Road near Venetian Way. The injuries she suffered were fatal.
Very few details have been released at this point but investigators have indicated that Snively was most likely trying to cross Watsonville Road heading northbound when she was struck by an oncoming vehicle. Snively was transported to a nearby hospital immediately following the collision but her injuries proved too severe. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene until law enforcement arrived. According to reports the driver was cooperative and did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
No further information is available at this time. The accident is still under investigation by police.
