Motorcycle Accident at Dudley Way and Dudley Boulevard

McClellan Park (June 22, 2018)- A two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle occurred in the afternoon of Friday, June 22. The accident happened at the intersection of Dudley Boulevard and Dudley Way at approximately 1:23 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The California Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene and arrived shortly after the accident. The Sacramento Fire Department was also sent to the accident along with local paramedics in response to initial reports which stated that at least one rider had sustained traumatic injuries during the crash.

Upon arriving, paramedics administered care to the individual but determined that the severity of the injuries demanded further care. The individual was transported to a local hospital, and their condition has not been released to the public.

After securing the area, local authorities began directing traffic around the scene. traffic on Dudley Boulevard and Dudley Way was delayed as a result. Authorities also remained at the scene until 1:45 p.m. Gathering evidence and details from those involved as well as those who witnessed the accident.

At the time of posting, the victim’s name has not been released to the public and an investigation is ongoing into the cause of the accident.
