Car Motorcycle Accident Kills Motorcyclist on Pescadero Creek Road

Pescadero, California  (June 23, 2018) – A fatal motorcycle accident involving a motorcycle occurred on Friday afternoon, according to local sources. The accident took place around 4:50 p.m on June 23 along Pescadero Creek Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an unidentified motorcycle and a Honda Civic crashed in the 6600 block of Pescadero Creek Road for reasons that have not yet been identified.

Shortly after the accident occurred, first responders were dispatched to the scene and local police began directing traffic away from the accident. Paramedics administered care to those injured, but despite their best efforts, they were unable to save the life of the motorcyclist and the individual succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The motorcyclist has not yet been identified as police work to notify the next of kin.

The condition of the driver of the Honda Civic has not been disclosed to the public by the California Highway Patrol. Traffic was delayed in the area as police worked to take statements and document the scene of the accident.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
