Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Crash in Sherman Oaks

According to a local news source, a motorcyclist ended up in the hospital with unspecified injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Sherman Oaks. The motor vehicle crash happened around 10:48 p.m. Monday night, June 11 at 4629 North Woodman Avenue at Valleyheart Drive. The Los Angeles Fire Department on the scene to find the vehicle and that motorcycle that was involved in the collision.

According to witnesses, the driver and the rider were simultaneously attempting to make a turn when the crash occurred. An investigation showed that the motorcyclist was turning left when the vehicle broadsided the rider. The vehicle was reportedly traveling southbound on Woodman Avenue at the time of the crash. The rider was quickly transported to the hospital and the extent of injuries is still unknown.
