Motorcyclist Injured in Oakland Crash on I-80 at Sfobb Toll Plaza

Oakland, (June 25, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a motorcycle was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident with a car at approximately 6:41 a.m. this morning in Oakland. The crash reportedly took place on Interstate 80 Freeway, west of the Sfobb Toll Plaza off-ramp. The crash apparently involved a motorcycle and a green sedan.

The motorcyclist suffered major injuries according to the California Highway Patrol. Emergency crews were immediately on the scene where they found the rider down in the number one lane of the Freeway. No other information regarding the crash or how it occurred was made available. The California Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation in order to determine who may be liable for the collision.
