San Francisco, CA – Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on 280 Freeway

San Francisco, CA (February 23, 2019) – A traffic collision that took place along the Interstate 280 Freeway on Friday morning, at 8:12 a.m., caused a motorcyclist to be seriously injured, according to California Highway Patrol.

The motorcycle and a Mercedes automobile collided on the northbound 280 Freeway, by the Alemany Boulevard offramp. The cause for the crash is not available at this time.

The paramedics and the San Francisco Fire Department arrived at the site of the accident and helped the rider of the bike who received major injuries because of the crash. He had a broken left arm and scrapes to his left hip. The name of the rider and his current state of injury are currently unknown.

The patient was taken to San Francisco General Hospital.
