Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 99 in Chico, CA Leaves Four Injured
Chico, California (June 21, 2018) – California Highway Patrol reported that four people were injured during a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 99, near State Route 32, at approximately 11:32 AM on Thursday, June 21, 2018. Authorities have not revealed the identities of the four individuals involved.
According to the CHP report, the accident occurred when a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, a Kia Sportage, and an as-of-yet-undetermined model collided on Highway 99. The resulting incident blocked the main roadway, as well as the off and on ramps. Sources state the truck received minimal frontal damage, while the Kia and the unnamed vehicle were towed. Law enforcement has not yet determined what caused the crash.
