Traffic Accident Investigation
Huntington Beach Police officials are working hard to determine the cause of the accident and the identity of the culprit. At present, the Department cannot yet determine factors like vehicle speed, distracted driving, or chemical influence. Officials will also consider if any potential injuries (as-of-yet undisclosed) were caused by mechanical failure or the accident itself.
Our hearts go out to all those injured as a result of this accident and we wish them a full and speedy recovery.
By law, victims and their loved ones may file a wrongful death claim or personal injury lawsuit against distracted/neglectful drivers who caused an accident. Ultimately, those affected have the right to withhold, but the costs of vehicular accidents can be overwhelming. It is best to consider all options before filing a lawsuit or claim.
