Hit-and-Run Bicycle Accidents in California
Negotiating your way through busy streets on a bicycle can be dangerous. Other than a helmet, you have no protection in the event of being struck by a motor vehicle. About 50,000 bicyclists a year in the United States are treated for crash injuries every year and more than 700 of them die.
Unfortunately, California bicycle accidents almost always involve injury after a cyclist was struck by a motor vehicle because they do not have enough protection to keep them safe from harm. Drivers also are not always paying attention to bicyclists on the road. Some drivers do end up fleeing the scene after hitting a bicyclist because they are afraid of the consequences of their actions, especially if they were being negligent.
At Brady Law Group, we have helped injured bicyclists win their personal injury lawsuits after being harmed by negligent drivers. We fight passionately for the rights of our clients because we do not believe it is fair for them to be financially liable for damages they were not responsible for causing. If you or someone you know was injured in a bicycle accident, call 866-478-6483 for a free consultation today.
