In 2013, more than 11,780 motorcyclists were either injured or killed in auto accidents. This number has been steadily on the rise with each passing year. The counties of Los Angeles and San Diego top the list of California counties with the highest number of motorcycle accidents. Motorcycle accidents are especially dangerous because the rider and any passengers are completely unprotected from the road and vehicles around them. Head and spinal injuries are the two most common types of injuries that motorcycle riders suffer from after an accident.
If you or someone you love has been injured in an accident while riding a motorcycle, you need to make sure that you retain the services of a reputable accident attorney. All too often other drivers and insurance companies try to shove the blame on to the motorcycle rider.
