North Auburn, CA. Two Car Crash at Highway 49 and New Airport Road

North Auburn, CA. (June 26, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a collision Tuesday afternoon at Highway 49 and New Airport Road in North Auburn. The crash took place at approximately 12:35 p.m. Tuesday, and California Highway Patrol was immediately dispatched to the scene. According to reports, a black Ford Escape and a red Toyota were apparently the two vehicles that were involved.

One of the victims reported head and neck injuries which they said occurred after hitting their head during the crash. The condition of that victim is uncertain at this time, although they were promptly transported to a local hospital by ambulance. There was no other information available concerning the condition of the victim or exactly how the collision transpired. Investigators are currently working to gather all the information they can in order to determine which driver may have been at fault for the collision.
