North Hills, CA – Police Officer and Woman Sustain Injuries in Crash on Lassen Street
North Hills, CA (November 4, 2018) – According to authorities, a police officer and a civilian were both injured when an SUV collided with a Los Angeles Police Department cruiser Friday night in North Hills. The crash transpired at approximately 7:53 pm on Friday, November 2nd in the 15400 blocks of Lassen Street near Sepulveda Boulevard.
According to investigators, the SUV and police cruiser were approaching Sepulveda Boulevard when they collided. Soon after the collision took place emergency personnel rushed to the crash site to render aid to their fellow officer and a 40-year-old woman who sustained injuries in the accident. The extent of the injuries sustained by the victims has not been disclosed. The sequence of events that led to the crash remains under investigation.
