Oakland, CA – Injuries Sustained in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 880
Oakland, CA (November 1, 2018) – According to the California Highway Patrol, injuries were reported in a car accident that occurred in Oakland on Wednesday evening. The accident transpired at approximately 7:50 pm, on October 31st, on Interstate 880 near High Street.
The initial police report indicates, a van and a BMW were traveling on Interstate 880, when for indeterminate reasons the two vehicles collided into one another. Sometime later, paramedics rushed to the crash site and transported at least one person to a local hospital for more in-depth treatment of injuries sustained upon impact of the collision. Emergency crews used tow trucks to clear the wreckage from the roadway. Investigators are still trying to determine the sequence of events leading up to the collision.
