Oakland, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Oakland Crash on 80 Freeway near Highway 13

Oakland, CA –  (December 11, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run accident that injured a motorcyclist Monday afternoon in Oakland. The collision took place on Interstate 80 at approximately 5:18 pm on December 10^th.

Reportedly, a motorcyclist and two other unidentified vehicles were traveling westbound on Interstate 80 approaching the connecting ramp to Highway 13, when for unknown reasons they collided into one another. Emergency crews immediately rushed tothe scene and rendered aid to the injured victims. The rider sustained multiple injuries including abrasions on both legs and wounds on his right toe. According to officials, one of the drivers involved fled the scene of the accident before police arrived.

As of now, this accident is under investigation.
