Oakland, CA – One Person Hospitalized after Motorcycle Accident near Sfobb Toll Plaza

Oakland, CA – (November 12, 2018) – One person was hospitalized after a motorcycle collision early Monday morning on a freeway in Oakland. The accident was reported at 5:41 a.m. on westbound 80 Freeway, just west of Sfobb Toll Plaza.

Officials have confirmed, a motorcyclist and a Chevrolet SUV collided into one another for unknown reasons while heading westbound on Interstate 80. Emergency crews responded to the accident shortly after it occurred and transported at least one person to a local hospital for treatment of a broken leg. Tow trucks were used to remove the wreckage from the roadway. Authorities are still working to establish the events that led up to the accident.
