Orange County, CA – USPS Driver Killed In 22 Freeway Crash Near Valley View St.
Orange County, CA (June 9, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a USPS semi truck occurred on June 9th at around 4 a.m., that took the life of the USPS driver.
California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident. According to CHP officers, the crash occurred on the 22 Freeway in Orange County near Valley View St.
A USPS semi truck collided with a Honda that was driving eastbound on the 22 Freeway and then veered off the road. The 26-year-old driver of the Honda was taken into custody for DUI
Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid the injured. The injured parties were transported to local hospitals for treatment and further evaluation. Sadly, the driver of the United States Postal Service big rig was pronounced dead at the scene.
