Oroville, CA- Head-On Crash Leaves Man Dead on Feather Rıver Blvd Near Virginia Ave

Oroville, CA (June 12, 2019)- A head-on crash killed a man on Tuesday at approximately 3 pm. The crash took place on Feather River Boulevard near Virginia Avenue when a southbound Scion SUV began to swerve into the northbound lanes, crashing into a Chevy pickup.

The Scion driver, whose name was not released, died at the crash site. The Chevy driver was taken to a local hospital after sustaining major injuries. A passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries.

Feather River Boulevard was shut down following the crash so that the investigation into its cause could begin.

The investigation is ongoing.
