Pacifica, CA – Two Killed and Several Injured in Fatal Accident on Highway 1

Pacifica, CA (February 10, 2019) – Police reported that two people were killed and several others received injuries in a fatal accident that took place on Highway 1 in Pacifica. The accident took place on early Saturday morning around 4:18 a.m. near Clarendon Road.

The accident, according to police, involved a wrong-way driver. A Toyota Prius had been heading south in the northbound lanes of Highway 1 when it suddenly collided head-on with a Chevrolet Silverado. A male passenger was ejected from the Toyota and tragically passed away at the scene of the accident.

The other person who lost their life in the accident was a female in her 20s to 30s in the Toyota. The driver of the Toyota was transported to the hospital with a variety of critical injuries. Two other men received minor injuries in the accident and were taken to the hospital.

As of now, police continue to conduct an investigation into the accident.
