Palm Desert, CA – Jesus Francisco Torres Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on I-10

Palm Desert, CA (May 27, 2019) On the morning of May 25^th, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened on the Interstate 10 freeway between Washington Street and Jefferson Street.

A vehicle struck a man named Jesus Francisco Torres around 1:00 a.m. Unfortunately, the vehicle that struck him drove off without stopping.

When an ambulance arrived, they found Torres had died at the scene.

Authorities are still searching for the vehicle responsible for the fatal accident.
