Palm Desert, CA – Two People Injured in Car Crash at Highway 111 and El Paseo

Palm Desert, CA (July 21, 2018) – According to the Riverside County Fire Department, two people had to be hospitalized following a motor vehicle collision on Highway 111 on Friday afternoon. The injurious crash reportedly took place at approximately 4:57 p.m. on the highway at El Paseo.

The Riverside County Fire Department/Cal Fire released a statement online that said three vehicles altogether were involved in the crash on Highway 111 at El Paseo which occurred for reasons that are presently unknown. A local news source stated that the cars collided at Town Center Way. Paramedics along with firefighters immediately arrived on the scene to assist the victims. One person apparently had to be extricated from their vehicle after becoming trapped inside due to the impact of the wreck.

Two people altogether were injured in the crash. The two who suffered injuries were quickly transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries which were classified as minor. The names and current conditions of those two victims have not been released at this time. The third person who was involved in the accident was apparently uninjured. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances of this crash.
