Palmdale, CA. Fatal Trucking Accident at the Intersection of Pearblossom Highway and Small Road

Palmdale, CA. (July 1, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol has reported that at least one person has been killed following a motor vehicle accident involving a large tractor-trailer early Sunday morning. The fatal crash took place at approximately 1:20 a.m. at the intersection of Small Road and Pearblossom Highway in Palmdale.

The California Highway Patrol reportedly stated that the crash occurred when a commercial big rig and a much smaller white vehicle collided at the intersection. The reason for the collision is currently unknown.

Officials from the Los Angeles County Fire Department were the first to respond to the accident and arrived on the scene to assist any victims. Tragically, at least one person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident due to injuries sustained in the crash. There were no more details made available regarding the cause of the crash or if any other victims were injured.
